I recently used trip.com for hotel bookings since they were offering rooms almost 20 percent cheaper than other popular websites. I read many negative reviews, however decided to try since the pricing was very attractive. I must say I was not disappointed. The website also display daily deals which results in additional savings. Their website is user friendly and helps navigate with ease. They also offer airline bookings, trains and cars though I have not made a booking so far. From my previous experience I expect that the other services offered should also be seamless. Their website helps in selecting best hotels based on their ratings and other amenities. Despite various concerns I believe that this is a legit website. However, my suggestion is that the company should try to address the concerns of the users and resolve issues that have been pointed out by many users. I would give this site a good rating based on my personal experience and some friends who have made bookings based on my recommendation.

Trip.com seems trustworthy from my experience of booking. I from India and in my recent travel to China, I made a recent hotel booking for my stay and received prompt confirmation. What I like about their website is that it also has an attractions tab which has beautiful suggestions and travel trips. From my understanding they offer hotel bookings in more than 200 countries in the world. The flight bookings tab also allows to book flights connecting major cities in the world. They also have an app which I downloaded. It acts as a ready reference for checking hotel and airline prices and comparing it with other companies. One drawback is that the site does not mention before the time of the booking whether it can be cancelled or not. Although it did not matter this time since my plans were confirmed going forward, I would like the company to address this issue for a hassle free process.

My recent experience of booking flight and hotels with Trip.com was a pleasant one. One note of caution though, the booking can take upto 12 hours for confirmation, though some buyers have received a prompt confirmation. This seems to be a Chinese company hence their business terms and conditions may vary, so it is advisable to check them to avoid a regret later. However, in my experience the company offered a steal deal compared to other leading travel websites. The cheapest available prices are often non-refundable. Hence, it is not actually Trip.com’ fault if someone suffered a loss due to cancellation. Making correct choices is necessary. I would highly recommend this website based on my personal experience and I hope to make further bookings through this site whenever I am in need to make travel plans.
